Task Alignment
A guided, analog-influenced thinking space for prioritizing your tasks, experimenting, and finding focus by owning “good enough.”
Your time and energy is spent on everything else that isn't returning smiles at the end of your day.
You've made elaborate systems in apps and journals to get sh*t done but still have decision fatigue.
No matter how much you do, you end up revenge-bed-time scrolling and feeling like you need more "me time".
And none of this is your fault. We were conditioned to be productive while forgetting to be ourselves.
adapted from The Spaces That Make Us by Danish Kurani
Have you ever pretzeled your brain to build an over-engineered system with hopes of being more productive?
Whether it's in your Bullet Journal, Notion, or some other Frankensteined combo of tools...
It feels good until you stop using it.
We never pause to ask what we actually want before building the system around something else. So we react to arbitrary deadlines, robotic expectations, and what we've seen work for someone else.
Most productivity apps were built to capture, organize, and sort information – and most do it well. But between capturing and doing, dopamine hits wear off and we're stuck with "task management".
Before we even make our systems, we have to decide what we want our life to actually look and feel like.
None of the tools above keep us accountable to that.
(And that's what they all have in common.)
Maybe a task became an "imposed burden" because we've been conditioned to stop weighing in on what actually makes us happy. When we're honest about aligning our tasks with the life we want to live, we create experiences that make the present, satisfying.
1.An imposed burden; a piece of work assigned.
For recovering productivity junkies who are tired
of doing the most and feelin' like toast.
Automatically sort your task priorities from a single view and never lose sight of what you want going on in your life.
How the Good Enough Matrix relieves overwhelm →
You can't do everything, everywhere, all at once. Task Alignment doesn't allow you to believe you should be doing more than you actually can (or want to).
The Good Enough Matrix keeps you honest about how you're spending your time and energy and if your tasks are working for you, or against you.
You're human – your interests, goals, routines, and literal seasons change. So instead of rebuilding a whole new system or ditching for a new one, stick with something simple, flexible, and supportive.
Every task card reflects your capacity so you know exactly what to do with your time and energy instead of wasting it on figuring it out.
Get good at filtering bullsh*t busy work out of your life to make room for what you actually want to enjoy doing in the moment.

Click the logo and a small window opens with what's happening in the sky right now. Full moons, retrogrades, planets changing signs, each one paired with a reflection prompt tied to your own task board. The logo shimmers when there's something new to notice.
Connect your Google Calendar in one click and see your events, your do dates, your due dates, and your logged wins on one continuously scrolling surface. Drag a task onto a day to schedule it. Read-only, so the app can see your events and never change them.
Run a 21-day experiment on yourself instead of setting a goal. Write down the one small thing you want to try and what you think will happen, then log the days it happens. Every 7 days it pauses and asks what actually happened. Ending early is a result, not a failure.
No.
Although Task Alignment was built with AI, it was not built by AI. All Simie's brains here.
The goal of Task Alignment is to teach you how to trust your own decision-making and be happy with it.
Every click and action you perform in Task Alignment is considered a micro-reflection. So sorry, there's no corny robot in the app that's gonna tell you what to do with your life.
Soon! But it won't be rushed.
Although you can pull up the app in a web browser on your phone, a more deliberate version of the app is being built for mobile.
Now is the best time to use the app on desktop so that you can help shape the mobile version into its perfect companion.
Because it was built by me, Simie.
Everything in Task Alignment was built with the sole purpose of relieving overwhelm, reducing decision fatigue, and providing clarity. So if you're looking for a feature farm of things in other apps, it won't be here unless it aligns with teaching you Task Alignment.
Countless hours spent with patients, coaching clients, journals, and apps have revealed core problems surrounding productivity that had no ideal solutions. Every design decision is meant to decondition our self-worth from what we do, and bring focus to how we want to feel.
But this only works if you're ready for that change.
